Terms and Conditions

  1. All sales are final.
  2. Normally, delivery dates on special and custom orders take anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks depending on the manufacturer. In certain situations, these time frames may be exceeded by the manufacturer. As a result, the seller will not be held responsible for any manufacturer’s delay in the shipping product.
  3. All errors in pricing and arithmetic are subject to correction.
  4. Customer is responsible for verifying the accounting, description, quantity and item accuracy of the contents of this order.
  5. Manufacturers’ warranties only to apply.
  6. No return on custom orders or sales items.
  7. Refund on other items, at our sole discretion, by credit voucher only and by presentment only. Any credit will have deducted there from delivery costs and restocking fees, if applicable.
  8. The outstanding balance must be paid prior to delivery by cash, certified cheque, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.
  9. The contents of both sides the invoice comprise the entire agreement. PLEASE READ the front side of your invoice carefully to make sure all specification are correct.
  10. If the order is taken over the telephone and mailed to you, and we do not hear from you within !0 days of mailing, you will be taken to have accepted the terms of the invoice.
  11. With respect to the delivery of the merchandise set forth on the front side of this invoice:
  12. it is the customer’s responsibility to satisfy him/herself that the furniture can be delivered into the home without difficulty and to raise any potential problems with the sales consultant before making arrangements for delivery;
  13. in the event that the delivery is required to other than the first floor or if there are any special problems, including removal of doors or windows, delivery by balcony or outside our designated delivery area, there will be additional charges;
  14. there will be redelivery charge in the event there is no one at, or the payment is not available at the delivery address on the date mutually arranged for delivery;
  15. the custimer will take delivery of the goods within two weeks ‘ notice that they are ready, failing which there will be at least a $25 per week warehouse fee until delivery;
  16. the person receiving the goods will acknowledge receipt of the goods in good condition after inspection and raise any concerns at the time; we will not assume any responsibility for problems other than manufacturer defects once receipt is so acknowledged;
  17. the delivery man will forewarn the customer if there could be some difficulty in making delivery of the furniture, but if the customer asks the delivery man to proceed, any damage to the premises or furniture will be the customer’s responsibility.

 

  1. Title to the goods purchased and delivered to the customer remains with G.H.Johnson until they are paid for; G.H.Johson’s may repossess goods which are not paid for; and the customer remains liable to pay for goods so repossessed. Upon payment by the customer of the balance owing for the repossessed goods and a redelivery charge such goods will be redelivered to the customer.
